Delete your data
Last updated 31 August 2026
Frasero has no accounts, so there is no account to close. What there can be is a backup of your practice progress, any exercise reports you filed, any message you sent us, and your email address if you joined the waitlist. All of it can be deleted, and this page says how.
Delete the copy on your device
Uninstall the app. Everything Frasero stored locally – your progress, your settings, your reminder – goes with it. This does not touch the backup on our side.
Delete what we hold
Email info@frasero.com with the subject line "Delete my data", and include one of the following so we can find your records:
- the identifier from the app's Contact screen – open Profile, then Contact us; it is shown at the bottom. This is the only thing that links you to your backup;
- the email address you gave us, if you joined the waitlist or wrote to us by email, sent from that same address.
Tell us if you want everything deleted or only part of it – the progress backup, a report, a message, or the waitlist email.
Why we need one of those. Sign-in is anonymous by design: we hold no name, no email, and no device identifier we could search on. Without the app identifier or the address you used, we genuinely cannot tell which records are yours, and privacy law does not let us guess. If you have already uninstalled the app and never gave us an email address, the identifier is gone and the backup is unreachable – it will age out on its own under the schedule below.
What gets deleted
| Data | On request |
|---|---|
| Practice progress backup | Deleted, along with the anonymous identifier it is stored against |
| Exercise reports you filed | Your identifier and your note are deleted. Any correction we already made to an exercise stays – it is now part of the content, not a record about you |
| Messages you sent us | Deleted, including the notification copy in our Telegram channel |
| Waitlist signup | Your email address and name are deleted, and you will not receive the launch email |
What is not deleted, and why
- Crash and performance reports. These sit with Sentry keyed to a device identifier rather than to anything we can search by, and they delete themselves 90 days after they arrive. If you send us your app identifier we will ask Sentry to remove any events carrying it.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider's request logs are not indexed by any identifier we hold. They expire within 30 days.
- Corrections to the exercise library. If you told us an exercise was wrong and we fixed it, the fix stays. It contains nothing about you.
- Anything the law requires us to keep, and only for as long as that lasts.
- Backups. Deleted records can persist in routine system backups for up to 30 days before those roll over.
How long it takes
We confirm the request within 7 days and complete it within30 days, which is the deadline the GDPR sets and the one we hold ourselves to everywhere. Where a U.S. state law allows 45 days and we need the extra time, we will tell you before the first 30 are up. Backups roll over within a further 30 days.
Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore progress once it is gone.
